Caso “dieci tracce” lp & dvd è pronto e sarà presentato
ufficialmente venerdì 11 dicembre presso l’Auditorium di P.zza della
Libertà di Bergamo.
Questo pezzo di plastica bianca e cartone è il debutto del cantautore
Andrea Casali, che diventa Caso quando abbraccia una chitarra e ci
racconta delle nostre giornate.
Le strade di Bergamo diventano canzoni semplici fatte di pochi accordi
e una voce scarna che canta il quotidiano.
Si vedono i palazzi, le piazze, le strade e le tracce dei nostri
percorsi, sempre uguali e sempre diversi.
I rumori sono nascosti nei solchi profondi di questo disco e, forse,
nello sguardo di chi lo appoggia sul piatto e lo lascia girare.
Il 12” raccoglie i dieci pezzi del demo, rimasterizzati per
l’occasione, più un pezzo inedito.
Il dvd si chiama “dieci capitoli”, è un film di quaranta
minuti coprodotto con Lab80, girato da Andrea Zanoli con Caso e le sue
canzoni; raccoglie otto pezzi del disco e altri due inediti. Dentro c’è
Bergamo, il suo odore e le sue persone.

Libertà: sarà proiettato il film e Caso suonerà qualche canzone. Poi
non dire che non te l’avevamo detto.

Andrea Casali, also known as Caso, is the new Bruce Springsteen. “Dieci
tracce” lp & dvd is his own “Nebraska”. If you were looking for
the italian folk new sensation, you’re in the right place. Give it a
chance, you won’t be disappointed.
Folk is just a guitar and lots of
feelings. You’re lucky: you get them both.
Chapter 2
After weeks of debate, i came to the point he couldn’t run this thing
anymore. I’m not twenty-something anymore, i’m tired to handle this
little red car on my own. But i’m probably too coward to call it quit.
This thing isn’t funny anymore (you got the quote, ok) if it is
surviving instead of living.
A bunch of months ago i met two guys and i felt affinity with them
really soon. As they were already involved in this scene, it was easy
to find common goals and dreams. It was so easy that two weeks ago,
while eating tons of chips, i asked them to join Red Cars Go Faster.
It’s not like: Hey what about help me, it’s like: Come on,
we’re in this together!
So please welcome Andrea and Mauro.
Red Cars Go Faster is now our label.
We’ll be releasing more excting records and we’ll re-start booking
tours again from next spring on.
Expect great things.

2009. No news is good news?
Raein "ogni nuovo inizio" cd was released in may: it features a long
song splitted into six parts that mark the comeback of these
lovely guys.
Thousand guitars and hundred vocals carve
what probably is one of the best chaotic, yet
rockish, tangled but still beautifully
melodic screamo records around.

He's 28, he's a bartender and he has a beard.
He writes and sings acoustic songs about how we get lost and find our
way again.
His name is Caso, and i'll be releasing his new record "Dieci
tracce" on lp & dvd in october.

I don't book tours anymore. It's been a great time,
i wasted a lot of time and lost tons of money but it
was really a great time. I just don't feel it anymore, what looked like
a stand by now looks like an end. It took six years and more
than 400 dates to come to this point, any regret would be senseless.
This whole thing we use to call diy gave me the chance to meet
the best people around. As they usually say: you know who you
are. Anyway, the highest hi-fives go to Ingo/The Company With
The Golden Arm, since he was the first one i got in
touch with back in 2001 and his words meant so much to me
along the way, and Sara, she helped the booking magnificently and
patiently stood my nervous character. Without them, i wouldn't
have made half this far. There are a few booking collectives
in Europe run by nice folks and you should really get in touch with
them if you wanna help your

28th, 2008. A bunch of news before
you all leave for holidays.
2nd press of Owen/The City On Film 7" on sweet ruby red is ready
now: get in touch if you want one!
Late september, Raein's comeback. New songs are amazing, so expect a
great record.
I'll be releasing the cd version together with Marianne from Ape Must
Not Kill Ape Records, more details soon so keep your eyes open!
In the meanwhile, i've been running a small and smart distribution that
won't appear as mailorder on this website due to the lack of time, but
if you feel interested please write me and i'll send you a list.
I won't be booking tours at least until next year, but maybe more. I
don't know if it looks more like a break or an end, but after
five years and almost four hundred shows i need to take some time to
think about it.

Howdy folks
It's been a while since the last time, even if I
promised myself to keep this thing uploaded more often.
Even if everything was a mess, life kept going on
here. The sweet Owen/The City On Film 7” was released last October and
there are few copies left now in my room; so please act fast if you
wanna get a copy!
In the meanwhile, the split cd Daitro / Sed Non
Satiata finally saw the light in the beginning of march. This is a
co-release with Echo Canyon , a new nice label from Lyon run by Julien
and Gwen from Daitro. You know the bands, so you know I don't lie when
I say this record is amazing. It comes in an awesome packaging with
lyrics, translations and all the stuff that the old nostalgic punks
usually like. But mostly, it's a benefit record as part of the incomes
will be given to Spazio Autismo, a no profit organization that helps
autistic kids to improve their many skills and their social life.

On other news, I think I'm gonna take a long break
from booking from june on. I've been living in a crunch of time for a
long time and I realized I can't handle this thing in the way it
deserves anymore. In the meanwhile, Sara (also known as Saretti) moved
to London , got married and got a couple of children, so booking
italian shows isn't her priority now.
The last tour I'll be booking is Off Minor in may.
It is funny as it was one of the very first tours I booked back in
2003, it means the circle is closing! Please check the dates in the
shows section, thanks!
